What it was
Interbingo launched in 2002 and was among the first online bingo rooms to open at all. Our review records that it had paid out more than $250,000 in progressive jackpot wins by the time of writing, and it credits the community to a named games manager, Katherine Riley, and her chat hosts — ChatJ, ChatW and ChatH, named in the review as the reason the rooms worked.
It described itself as the most authentic bingo hall on the internet, and the review broadly agreed with it.

What it tells you about the period
That is the oldest site in this archive and the review names the staff, which nobody does any more. It is a reminder of how small the business was: a bingo room with a games manager whose name the players knew, and total progressive payouts of a quarter of a million dollars — a figure that any single jackpot room on the sites we list today would exceed.
The chat hosts are the part that survived. The job still exists, it is still the thing that makes a bingo room different from a slot, and our page on bingo chat hosts describes what it involves now.
Why this page still exists
Most bingo sites from this period are gone, and the usual way to deal with their review pages is to delete them or to redirect them to something that pays. We have done neither. A review this site published is part of its record, and a reader who arrives from a twenty-year-old link deserves to find out what happened rather than to be redirected to an advertisement.
