About Bingotime

A bingo guide that has been online since 2005, rebuilt in 2026

Bingotime has been online since 2005, which makes it older than most of the sites it writes about and considerably older than the software they run on. It was a directory of bingo sites when bingo online meant a program you downloaded, and the review pages from that period are still here, in the archive, marked for what they are.

What the site is now

A guide to online bingo in Britain, with a section for readers elsewhere. We track fourteen licensed sites, check each licence on the regulator’s own register, count the bingo rooms ourselves, and publish no bonus figure we cannot verify in full. The method is on how we review and it is the page to read if you want to know what the rest is worth.

We are an affiliate site: when a reader opens an account through one of our links, the operator pays us. That is stated at the top of every page carrying links, in the footer of every page on the site, and in full on the method page.

What changed in 2026

The site was rebuilt from scratch in October 2026. Everything before that — the layout, the operator list, the reviews — was from a different era of the business and most of the sites it recommended had closed. The rebuild kept three things: the name, the logo, and the review pages for closed sites, which are now an archive rather than a recommendation.

Almost every brand the old site linked to is gone. That is not unusual in this trade and it is the strongest argument we know for checking a licence before depositing: the sites that survived are, almost without exception, the ones that were properly licensed.

Who writes it

A small editorial team. Pages are signed by the team rather than individually, and every page carries the date it was last checked. We do not run guest posts, sponsored articles or paid placements, and no operator has sight of a page before it is published.

Getting in touch

Corrections, questions and complaints about anything on the site go to the contact page. If your complaint is about an operator rather than about us, the operator’s own procedure comes first and then the dispute body named in its terms — our page on bingo rules explains the route, and it is free to you.
