Geisha Bingo
An archived review of a bingo site that has closed
Geisha Bingo is no longer trading and nothing on this page is an offer, a recommendation or a link. It is kept as a record of a review this site published when the brand was running, which was in the 2000s.
Any bonus, jackpot, card price or percentage quoted below is a quotation from that old review and is not a current offer. It could not be claimed if you wanted to: the site is gone. Bonus terms at licensed British sites have also changed since — playthrough is capped at ten times and a single offer may no longer mix bingo with casino games. What the terms mean now.
For sites that are trading and licensed, see the sites we have checked.
What it was
Geisha Bingo ran the same 3D halls, the same 25-cent cards and the same offer structure as Bingo Liner — a 100 per cent match on the first purchase, 200 per cent through NETeller, up to 50 per cent back afterwards, three types of progressive jackpot, and between three and fifty cards per game.
The software
A downloadable 3D client.
What it tells you about the period
Our two reviews are near-identical because the two sites were, which was normal and is still normal. What has changed is disclosure: a British site today must name its licensee in the footer, and two brands on one licence can be identified in a minute on the regulator’s public register. In 2008 there was no equivalent, and a player had no way of knowing.
Why this page still exists
Most bingo sites from this period are gone, and the usual way to deal with their review pages is to delete them or to redirect them to something that pays. We have done neither. A review this site published is part of its record, and a reader who arrives from a twenty-year-old link deserves to find out what happened rather than to be redirected to an advertisement.
There are no commercial links on this page or anywhere in the archive. The full archive holds twenty-four of these.
